All the World Loves Lovers (Dance)

from Collaborations And Covers by John Callaghan

/

about

To me, this is how the song should always have sounded. There's a tense and perhaps even cynical edge to it. Lovers of the original might point out that the charm of the Prefab Sprout version is keeping that tension subtle. Although I enjoy their performance of the song, it does sound rather like a Richard Cheese lounge version of an industrial original to me.
